We learned about media arts. The term "new media art" refers to a wide range of art forms that include new technology like virtual reality, computer animation, and the internet. Years ago, it was easier to describe media arts; any artist who worked with video and a computer was considered a media artist. The definition of media art has change
d dramatically in recent years. In the mid-nineteenth century, painters widely accepted the use of non-traditional media. Media art was a non-traditional subject at the time, and it included art forms such as computer art, animation, digital photography, sound and video, and performance art.
So true! The term 'art' has never before covered so many things.
